Recycling in construction
Construction is one of the most important areas where we need to focus on recycling, in fact the government have identified it as one of five key areas to prioritise in terms of minimising waste. This shows just how important it is, and we can assure you we take it very seriously here at Redline.
Despite construction still needing lots of improvement when it comes to recycling, recycling rates in the industry have improved since 2000 – and at Redline they will continue too. At Redline we take every possible action to be as eco friendly as possible, the environment is important to us, it is our home; and as much as we want to fix your roof, we also want to keep our world clean while doing so!

One of the most recent changes to the construction industry is UPVC fascia’s and soffits are now made of recyclable plastic. This is something we are very proud of and happy about. UPVC fascias and soffits are very commonly used, so it is fantastic that they can now be recycled!
We will never create any unnecessary waste, and we make sure to recycle everywhere we can. For example, if your roof can be saved, rather than pulled up and replaced with a new roof, we will always suggest to you we repair it rather than replace. This helps the environment as it means us using less machines and materials. If a new roof is needed we will always recycle every old piece of material we can, so you can be certain your old materials are not harming the environment.
